An old 18th Century coaching house, Muckross Park Hotel sits in the heart of the Killarney National Park, just a few miles from the quaint old town of Killarney.

The Muckross Park Hotel dates back to 1795, an old coaching house, it was part of the old Muckross House estate of the Herbert Family. Throughout its long 200 year history the hotel has entertained many guests of the Herbert’s as well as figures such as Irish Playwright George Bernard Shaw.

Molly Darcy’s adjacent to the hotel serves up traditional Irish food to match its traditional Irish atmosphere with roaring open fires, stone walls, beamed ceilings and live Irish music.
