Built in 1703, Churchtown House was associated with some of Wexford's most powerful families involved in the 1798 insurrection; notably the Herron Family whose son John Herron was exiled and later became one of Napoleon's favourite generals.

Churchtown House has been restored to its former glory mixing traditional elegance with country house charm, while its 8 acres of mature parkland and farmland provide a haven of peace and tranquillity.
